| This software is based on the terminology cards designed for Montessori education. Although the software can be used independantly of the standard terminology cards, the actual aim is to utilise the student's previous experiences of working with the cards. When the student clicks on a card with the mouse, the name of the card can be heard. This allows the younger student who cannot yet read, to learn the names of the parts. At the same time the student develops some basic computer skills and learns to work on a more symbolic (abstract) level. |
